Student loans provide millions of students with the funding required to get a higher education. They help many to get an education and to break the cycle of poverty. Note though that student loans, like all loans, must be repaid with interest! Their repayment schedules can often look like those of mortgages on homes – high monthly commitments and long periods of time. This session will provide you with some tips to help you make better decisions with student loans. What types of student loans are available? How much should you borrow?
