Description: In
today’s rapidly evolving AI landscape, educators benefit from understanding
emerging no-code AI builder tools that extend far beyond traditional chatbots.
This session introduces faculty to platforms such as Google AI Studio, NotebookLM,
and Think Machine to illustrate how these tools are being used in research,
knowledge engineering, and industry innovation. Participants will examine the
progression from AI-generated mind maps to knowledge graphs, hypergraphs, metagraphs,
and higher-order graph databases (HO-GDBs). This session encourages faculty to
explore “what’s next” in AI technologies and to consider how these developments
may shape future academic, professional, and disciplinary landscapes.
Learning
Objectives:
By
the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe
the spectrum of no-code AI tools from post-chatbot visual-analysis tools to
higher-order graph databases (HO-GDBs) and how they can be used in research and
industry innovation.
- Identify
at least two no-code, post-chatbot tools currently being leveraged for advanced
AI-builder and knowledge-engineering workflows.
- Reflect
on potential future developments in AI tooling and consider how evolving
technologies may influence academic disciplines, faculty scholarship, and
long-term institutional planning.
