Generative Artificial intelligence (Gen AI) is transforming industries and redefining how we work, collaborate, and solve problems. This workshop introduces AI as a change management and human behavioral challenge rather than simply a technical or IT issue. It informs participants of essential human skills that remain critical in an AI-driven world, such as emotional intelligence, creativity, adaptability, and ethical decision-making. Through discussions and interactive exercises, participants will explore how AI can amplify human capabilities while requiring behavioral shifts. By the end of the session, participants will understand how to harness AI as a tool to enhance their work, while fostering the human skills that remain irreplaceable. This workshop is suitable for Faculty, Leadership, and Staff at all levels
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will:
- Understand AI’s Role Beyond Technology: Participants will be able to articulate how AI is more than just a technological tool and why its adoption requires behavioral change, not just technical adaptation.
- Identify Essential Human Skills in an AI-Driven World: Participants will recognize the critical importance of emotional intelligence, creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, and ethical decision-making in the context of AI integration.
- Apply AI to Enhance Daily Work Processes: Participants will identify at least one aspect of their own work that could be enhanced by AI, while recognizing the behavioral shifts or new skills needed to make that integration successful.
- Understand the Behavioral Shifts Required for AI Adoption: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of how adopting AI in the workplace involves changes in mindset, workflows, and interactions, and how they can actively manage these changes.
