Description:
This session aims to foster an interactive and collaborative environment for educators and professionals interested in the integration of chatbots, including ChatGPT, in educational settings. Instead of traditional presentations, we will facilitate a discussion where attendees will be encouraged to actively share their experiences, insights, and perspectives regarding the use of chatbots in both online and face-to-face education. In this session, participants will:
- share their experiences using chatbots like ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, and others in online and face-to-face educational environments
- explore challenges and opportunities related to promoting student outcomes, fostering engagement, and the ethical use of AI in education
- discuss practices for integrating chatbots effectively into their classrooms, online courses, or educational platforms to promote students’ engagement and learning
- collaborate in the creation of a digital document with the session’s key takeaways and resources on the topic
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will leave the session with a toolkit of practices and resources for successfully implementing AI chatbots in education.
