Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice In this 50-minute interactive workshop, participants will learn about the main principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a framework which focuses on multiple means of engagement, representation, and action & expression. According to CAST (2024), “The goal of UDL is learner agency that is purposeful & reflective, resourceful & authentic, strategic & action-oriented.” UDL offers a framework to create accessible and engaging learning experiences for all students, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds. Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into this UDL framework presents opportunities for educators to design inclusive, adaptable, and personalized curricula.
