Description:
The purpose of this roundtable is to provide educators throughout the university with a forum for examining how generative AI (genAI) is impacting teaching and learning across the curriculum. Colleagues will engage with one another in a supportive environment while developing a shared understanding of how generative AI can be used for a variety of educational purposes. Members of the LC will discuss specific areas of interest related to generative AI and share teaching strategies and assessment methods. Participants will be invited to share their insights, as well.
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be able to:
1. Identify multiple genAI platforms and their capabilities.
2. Increase knowledge about teaching with generative AI.
3. Develop assessment methods for assignments that incorporate genAI.
