Belonging, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (BEDI) in Online Learning

Description: In this session, the definitions of belonging, equity, diversity and
inclusion (BEDI) will be provided followed by a discussion on how to use BEDI within the context
of online education. The Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP), a framework that promotes BEDI
will be described. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas and practices related to how CRP
and inclusive strategies can be implemented online. Resources that address and promote BEDI in
education will also be provided.
